Q: What's the best way to ruin positive momentum earned via a great album and a growing fanbase?

A: Taking far too long to deliver its followup album and completely remaining out of touch with your fanbase about what's going on. In this day and age, I can't believe a band of this quality isn't being marketed better than this, and I can't believe the lack of updates anywhere about anything regarding them. This isn't impatience speaking; it's recognition of horrible management.

Setlists

I see that some of setlists make it onto the sight. eg. Richmond. Would it be possible for all the setlists be published on this sight. Being A giant Neil Young fan, I love sugarmountain.org as they have every Neil setlist going back to 1970. Usually within hours of a show the setlist is up. I think the fans would like to see what the band did the night before. Just a thought!

I know it's kinda early but was wondering who is going. I would like to meet some new freinds who have some of the same music tastes. Me and my gal will be there and we are staying at the Windjammer. This will be the 5th time seeing GPN this year, Waneefest, Clearwater Festival, Free Albany NY show and The Gathering of the Vibes.

Who is responsible for marketing the new CD?

It has to be the LEAST HYPED CD in history of the recording industry...

At this point I only expect to hear the amazing new stuff from the waterfront show (colors, money, etc..) at HigherGround on NYE 2010.

Just found out this is an all ages show. My 10 yr old daughter is way too excited ! we are making the 4hr drive for a 1hr show! does anyone know if the band usually sticks around for pics.when they are the opening act?
any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am wondering how others feel about Nate popping in to the message boards and closing down the thread regarding Bryan's leaving, the direction of the band and it's management, etc. I don't know about anyone else, but I am one pissed off person. GPN has performed twice since I been following them (almost 2 years) for charity fundraisers. I went to one of the shows in New Hampshire last year that raised money for Child and Family Services http://www.cfsnh.org/pages/2008events/cftc2008.html , and I attended the fundraiser on July 10th for the school in Bennington. I wonder how much they've helped to raise over the years and for what charities?...
