Why do you like set lists?

So I was having this discussion with a friend of mine the other night about set lists, why people are so interested in them, how a band decides on a set list, etc. So I figured I'd go straight to the source, why are you all so obsessed with set lists? What is it about seeing which songs the band has played each night that is so intriguing? I've never been a big set list guy, so I'm curious what everyone's views are.

Who Needs A Deal On Mass MOCA Tickets (4)??

I have 4 tickets at the box office to the show at Mass MOCA in N. Adams on 3/11/10 that because of circumstances beyond my control, I cannot use, unfortunately. There is a no refund policy at this venue, and the tickets cost me $82.00. I can transfer them to another person that can get them at the box office on the night of the show. If anyone is interested in these tickets, "please" let me know. This is a general admission concert at a fantastic venue:

They say it never rains in Southern California. They lied. And so...Trapped. Like a rat. In my car. All day. Picking up the rental at noon at LAX, I pull over to get my gearings and it starts up. Oh, it's just a misty, sprinkly, cruel, indication of things to come. Weathercom said scattered showers...so why even bring a rain coat. But what am I going to do anyway for the next six hours? Christmas shop on Rodeo Drive? I think not.

So I do make my way to Ralph's in Marina...

I'm kinda' sick of discussing the biz end of things. Yawn......... Right? I always like those fun little discussions/exercises that we do ovah on TIS, set-lists, fave vids, et al. So, tell me, what is your all-time favorite show? I'm talking about the one that was like a religious experience...made the hair on the back of your neck stand up, as well as the hair on your arms.
