US trip - any tips?!

First, Hi to everyone I haven't 'met' jet. For those who have responded in my previous topic's, you know I'm planning a trip to the US - and i'm certainly planning to see GPN.
I wanna go next spring. Probably late April - mid May or mid May - early June. Since there are no tourdates avalible for GPN, i'll have to wait and see, but i've got a first planning. I wanted to show you guys the planning and hear what you've got to say about it. I did the same...

wanted to post about this virus that attacked my work computer Monday morning. I did not visit any new sites, or open anything odd - but a message popped up in the middle of my screen asking if I wanted to install "antivirus 2008".

You can call me a grammar geek or whatever you like, but as a linguist I subscribe to a daily email "word of the day".
Today's word is 'noctilucent'. (See below)
As in: "Grace Potter's show at the Chicken Box last summer was noctilucent!"
I think "noctilicious" should be a word too.

New York City Help please

For my 40th birthday my wife is taking me to New York City for the weekend this weekend. We are seeing Wicked on Friday and then we have the rest of the weekend to do whatever we want.

I do not know the city to well and would love ideas for places to go....inparticulr I have always wondered about Washington Square....is it worth the trip down there? I am interested mainly because of the old Dylan /folk era.

What about anyplaces to see any concerts on Saturday...

C'mon Teadhead, growing up in NH means you learn to ski as soon as you can get on a t-bar. The progression goes crawl, stand, walk, snowplow, stem christie and then parallel. I was bombing the slopes at Tenney Mountain when I was 4.

So, five years at school in Colorado and then seven years living in Sun Valley expanded that progression to learning the differences between east coast ice and western powder, learning how to work at night so I could ski all day, learning to snowboard, and...
