GPN has performed twice since I been following them (almost 2 years) for charity fundraisers. I went to one of the shows in New Hampshire last year that raised money for Child and Family Services http://www.cfsnh.org/pages/2008events/cftc2008.html , and I attended the fundraiser on July 10th for the school in Bennington. I wonder how much they've helped to raise over the years and for what charities? What charities are near and dear to their hearts? The fact that this is a band that purposefully gives back is important to me.

Jackie - here's another event held recently - the Posse got permission from the band to raise money for the Vermont Food Bank at the December 29th Show
during this past New Year's Eve run at Higher Ground. We collected food, and held an auction of member Nanci (photos by Nanci) awesome photos and were able
to raise a nice sum of cash in addition to food collection in the name of the band for the Vermont Food Bank.
